The fair is the place where the top of the international luxury industry meet to present their most beautiful and exclusive products and services.
Speaking at the inauguration of the fair, Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said that the new preference of world's millionaires will be Turkish products and services.
Tuzmen said that Turkey is among the premier league of world countries.
He reminded that the Turkish exporters made a promise to realize exports worth 500 billion USD in 2023, on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey.

It is important to note that Turkey is Europe's sixth and the world's 15th biggest economy, Tuzmen said.
"At a time when everyone is talking about a (global) financial crisis, it is very meaningful to hold the "Millionaire Fair" in Istanbul," Tuzmen stressed.
"The new preference of the world's millionaires will be Turkish goods and services," Tuzmen said.
"The global conspicuous consumption market is worth about 200 billion USD. The rich people have difficulty in spending their free time. We can contribute to the Turkish economy by making sure that the rich millionaires spend a lot of time in Turkey by utilizing quality Turkish products |

and services," Tuzmen also said.
The profile for exhibit include Art & antiques, Luxury cars, Interior & design, Jewellery & watches, Lifestyle, Travel, Boats & Yachts, Private Jets & Helicopters, Fashion & Haute Couture, Investment, Spirits & Haute Cuisine, Cosmetics & Beauty, Home entertainment, sound & vision, Telecom, Hotels & Resorts, Property, Banking & Finance.
Architects, Designers, Interior decorators, Consultants, Distributors, Retailers, Traders, Government Officials, and other related professionals and General Public are the target visitors. The "Millionaire Fair-Istanbul" ends on November 2, 2008. |
